About us

Brooklace,
Inc. is the oldest and largest manufacturer of lace and linen
paper products in the United States. The company began manufacturing
operations in 1875, one year before Alexander Graham Bell's
invention of the telephone and General George Custer's Last Stand at
Little Bighorn. The original name of the company was Brooklyn Lace
Paper Works. When the company moved to Connecticut in 1992, the name
was changed to Brooklace.
For over 130 years,
Brooklace has provided its customers with high quality products and
excellent service. Today, Brooklace's vast array of products is
considered to be the finest offering of its kind in the United
States. High quality raw materials combined with twenty-first
century manufacturing technology produce a doily that separates
easily and is virtually free of doily dust and loose chips.
Brooklace
manufactures a broad line of products that includes
lace and linen
doilies in round, square, rectangle, heart and
shamrock shapes.
These products are produced on bond, foil, greaseproof and glassine
paper. Also offered are white, printed, and custom hospital
traycovers, solid color, stock and custom printed
placemats, baking
cups, éclair cases,
hot dog trays, white and custom printed
paper
plates, car mats, bathmats, white
tablecovers and waxed paper
sandwich bags. Within each of these categories we offer a wide
selection of designs, substrates and sizes. It is our intent to
provide our customers with the right products in the right size
packs to meet their needs.
